
Recently, the team of British Ukrainian Economic Future (BUEF) visited the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, where an official meeting took place with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the UK, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
The meeting was also attended by prominent British experts and partners of the organization — Simon Bladgen, adviser to the UK Government on telecommunications and international trade, who leads Building Digital UK and Levercor Energy Systems, and Mark Higton, a British financial consultant and Director of Higton Associates Limited, specializing in investment consulting, capital raising, and executive search.
During the meeting, BUEF representatives briefed the Ambassador on the organization’s activities, its mission, and key initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine’s economic development and contributing to the country’s post-war recovery. The parties also discussed potential directions for further cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
Valerii Zaluzhnyi highly appreciated the organization’s work and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening Ukrainian-British partnership. The Ambassador expressed the Embassy’s readiness to support the activities of British Ukrainian Economic Future, particularly in matters related to Ukraine’s recovery and development.
The meeting became an important step in expanding dialogue between the Ukrainian community and British business, opening new opportunities for partnership and joint projects.
